High schools in El Dorado, Strong among 74 in state awarded funds

El Dorado High School and Strong High School were two of 74 schools in the state that were recently awarded funds through the New Program Start-Up Grants.

The Arkansas Department of Workforce Education announced it has awarded 74 middle, secondary and post secondary schools in the state a total of nearly $3 million.

El Dorado High School received $15,491.25 for a Jobs for Arkansas’ Graduates program and Strong High School received $21,717.50 for Construction Technology.
