General Motors may be putting the brakes on future deliveries of GM vehicles to Daniel Reap Chevrolet in Smackover.

Owner Daniel Reap said he’s been in regular contact with GM over the last few weeks, and that he’d been told the company wanted only one GM dealership in Union County.

“As far as I know right now, we are okay. I had a call from them yesterday, and as of right now, it’s just a day-to-day basis. I really don’t know where we stand,” Reap said. “I know they only want one General Motors dealer in Union County. I do know that.”
