SMACKOVER – Smackover’s plans for a ghost tour are off to a solid start, thanks to the conclusions drawn by Spirit Seekers, a non-profit paranormal investigation team that examined four allegedly haunted downtown buildings.

The small town has been working to create a walking ghost tour, and because the four Main Street businesses – Lisa’s Family Hair Care, The Smackover Journal, The Flower Smith and the Burns Building – have long been rumored to be haunted, the Smackover Chamber of Commerce invited the Spirit Seekers to investigate the buildings in early December.
