Pam Beasley, superintendent of the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources and director of the Natural State Chautauqua in Smackover, will be the guest speaker when the Golden K Kiwanis Club meets at noon today at Champagnolle Landing Senior Center.

Beasley has a master’s degree in anthropology and museum studies from the University of Arkansas and a bachelor’s degree in history and anthropology from Mississippi State University. Before becoming superintendent of the museum in 2003, she had served as curator since 1991.
