La Quita Rainey, director of Elder House Adult Day Care Center, will be the guest speaker when the Civitan Club meets at noon on Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Rainey is a registered nurse and a 1985 graduate of El Dorado High School. She graduated from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia in 1990 with an associate’s of science degree.

She was employed at Medical Center of South Arkansas from 1990-92, in the intensive care unit. She moved to Shreveport, La., in 1993, where she worked for Louisiana State University Medical Center in the surgi...
