Joe Louis Millsap Jr., of El Dorado, was found guilty Thursday by a jury of his peers on two counts of third degree battery. Millsap also has three prior felony convictions.

On July 25, 2008, Millsap came to his home at 1206 California St. and reportedly injured Coreen Wilson, who, at that time, was five months pregnant. Millsap also allegedly injured Wilson’s 2-year-old son after he became angry and spanked him because the child would not go to sleep.
