Union County’s Personal, Real Estate and Mineral Property Tax deadline is Friday, according to Rick East, tax collector.

He said after this Friday, there will be a 10 percent penalty added.

“If mailing, we will accept Oct. 10 postmark as paid on time. Please send tax statement when paying at the Collector’s Office (located on the first floor of the Union County Courthouse in El Dorado), or if at all possible, bring tax statements when paying at the Collector’s Office to avoid a long wait in line,” East said.
