The El Dorado Economic Development Board agreed Tuesday to ask the El Dorado City Council to endorse the city’s new themeline: “El Dorado, We Promise.”

The decision came after a motion made by Joffre Long, vice-president of the EEDB, who contended that it would be prudent to have a member of the marketing implementation task force, which selected the themeline last week, make a presentation at the council’s regular meeting on Thursday.
