Emon Mahony Jr. will be the guest speaker when the Rotary Club meets at noon today at First Baptist Church Christian Life Center. He will speak to club members about Referred Question 1, which will give the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission the authority to issue up to $300 million and wastewater bonds.

Mahony was born May 5, 1941, in El Dorado and he and his wife, Kay, have five children. He graduated from El Dorado High School, received a bachelor’s degree in English from Tulane University, a L.L.B (J.D.) from Tulane Law School and a L.L.M. from Stanford Law School.
