After months of anticipation and preparation, Musicfest 2008 is finally here.

With the weather expected to cooperate, festival organizers are encouraging everyone to come to downtown El Dorado today and Saturday for a weekend chock-full of music, food and activities for the entire family.

Gates open at 5 p.m. on Washington Avenue at Oak and Cedar Streets. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 – 12. Children 5 and under get in free.

Adult ticket prices go up to $20 after 6 p.m. on Saturday....
