Christian martial arts classes have begun in the Family Life Center of Immanuel Baptist Church in El Dorado. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with children’s classes from 6:15 to 6:55 p.m. and adult classes from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday classes are also being held from 10 to 11 a.m.

According to Chris A. Ruddell, instructor, One Heart Dojo martial arts teach self-confidence, self-discipline, self-control, tenacity and improved concentration, among many other benefits.
