El Dorado Alderman Vertis Mason called on Entergy for immediate action this week, requesting that the company begin repairing numerous street lights that she said are out all over town.

“The street light situation in El Dorado is a disgrace. In the downtown alone there are 16 street lights out and the six that are still burning are on 24 hours a day, wasting energy,” Mason, alderman of Ward 1, Position 1, said on Monday.
