Burn ban now in effect for Union County

Union County Judge Bobby Edmonds has declared a burn ban for Union County. In a proclamation issued today, Edmonds said that with the dry weather and lower than average rainfall, outdoor burning may cause fires that can easily burn out of control.

The ban will continue until further notice.
