Esther Byrd, owner/manager of South Arkansas Personnel Services, Inc., will be the guest speaker when the Kiwanis Club meets at noon on Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church. She will talk to club members about the upcoming Pancake Day, which is being planned for Oct. 31.

A native of Jones, La., she is a member of First Presbyterian Church and is the mother of four children.
