Car’s driver charged with DWI, failure to maintain control of vehicle after accident on Wesson Road

News-Times/Jim Lemon Fatal accident...Carolyn Lee, 43, of El Dorado, died Thursday night after this 2006 Cadillac STS driven by 53-year-old Eddie Malone of El Dorado struck a tree on Wesson Road. Malone has been charged with DWI and failure to maintain control of vehicle.

A 43-year-old El Dorado woman was killed Thursday evening in a one-vehicle accident on Wesson Road.

Authorities said that Carolyn Lee, a passenger in a red 2006 Cadillac STS driven by 53-year-old Eddie Malone of El Dorado, died after the vehicle struck a tree at approximately 10 p.m. Thursday.

Pro-Med ambulance service transported Malone to the Medical Center of South Arkansas, where he was treated for unknown injuries.
