Friends and co-workers, along with South Arkansas Community College officials, gathered at the Charles H. Murphy Jr. Boardroom at the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce Wednesday to present the first Jodie Mahony Endowed Scholarship to Krysta Breazeale of Hampton.

Breazeale, who is the mother of two preschool-aged children, plans to teach middle school math when she finishes college.
