A Union County man was arrested on July 18 for allegedly harassing two people on Marysville Cemetery Road in June. One of the alleged victims is a 7-year-old girl, according to authorities.

James Rogers, 48, was released Monday on a $1,500 cash or corporate surety bond and escorted to his home by Union County Sheriff’s deputies. After his release, Union County District Judge George Van Hook ordered deputies to confiscate any weapons found at Rogers’ home.

The charge is a misdemeanor.
