The South Arkansas Arts Center has announced the award-winning artists for the 2008 Annual Juried Art Competition, sponsored by Linda and Louie Hall, currently on display in the Merkle Gallery until July 30.

The annual open invitational juried art competition was judged this year by metalsmith artist David H. Clemons of Little Rock, who selected the works in the exhibition from over 200 submissions from 95 artists, and chose the winning pieces that were announced during an artists reception held on July 12, according to Darrin Riley at the arts center.
