More than 90 young baseball players from four states will begin arriving in El Dorado today as preparations get under way for the 2008 Babe Ruth Southwest Regional Tournament this weekend.

Under Babe Ruth rules, the players, who are from Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana and of course, Arkansas, are required to stay with local “host families” during their visit to El Dorado, but thanks to the support of many local residents, there are plenty of host families to go around, said Cindy Anzalone, who has been helping “behind the scenes” to finalize the players’ housing arrange...
