To get its message and itself out into the community, the El Dorado Safe Streets Task Force has planned a rally at Mitchell Park.

The rally will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and all residents in the west side El Dorado neighborhood that surrounds the park, located at Bradley and West First, are encouraged to attend. Food will be provided.

During a meeting on June 14, the task force, whose slogan is “We Care About El Dorado,” stressed the need to become more visible in the community in order to help make the city’s streets safer.
