FELSENTHAL – An ordinance adopted by the Felsenthal Town Council last month prohibits the keeping of livestock within city limits.

The ordinance, which was adopted during the June 10 regular meeting, bans livestock within city limits and defines livestock as cattle, horses, mules, sheep, goats, hogs and other such farm animals that are regarded as assets.

The ordinance also prohibits persons who own livestock and fowl, including chickens, ducks, pigeons and geese, from allowing the animals to roam at large within the corporate limits of Felsenthal.
