Opening night had its problems, but Randolph’s shows a lot of potential

First the good news about Randolph’s, 104 E. Cedar, in the former Einstein’s location. The new restaurant/club has tons of potential, both as a dining experience and another location for live music performances. Now the bad news, last Thursday’s grand opening was about as bad as one could imagine, on numerous fronts. If you’ve been reading our paper this week, the owners are still trying to secure permits and licenses.

Before I say more about last week’s opening, the club is scheduled to have a “Throwback Sunday” beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday with singers Pat Brown and The Love Doctor...
