News-Times Staff Some people dream of visiting the Eiffel Tower, others hope to see the great pyramids of Egypt, but for Paula Medlin, a Strong-Gardner Elementary teacher, it’s the Iditarod, a 1,150-mile dog sled race over some of the toughest terrain on Earth, that holds the greatest charm, and last month, her dream of getting involved with the “Last Great Race on Earth” came true.
