FARMERVILLE, La. – During their July meeting, the Union Parish Police Jury voted to award a bid for the Community Development Block Grant Fire Protection Project to Pohlman and Wilbanks Contractors, Inc.

The total turnkey bid was for $185,373, while the deductive alternative bid was $166,601.95. The motion by the jury was to accept the deductive alternative bid, pending the CDBG engineer’s approval and to authorize the president of the jury to execute all necessary documents.
