The good news is that El Dorado has landed an essential air service provider.

The bad news, according to Gary Harrell, manager of South Arkansas Regional Airport/Goodwin Field, is that there is no word yet on when flights will resume at the airport.

Since Mesa Air Group announced in January that it would discontinue its essential air service routes, which included El Dorado and other Arkansas cities, community leaders have been keeping their fingers crossed that another airline would pick up the routes.
