El Dorado Police Department responded Thursday evening to a call about Randolph’s . . . A Taste of the World, 104 E. Cedar St., selling alcohol without a permit, said EPD Chief Ricky Roberts on Monday.

“We basically said they couldn’t sell or give away beer,” Roberts said. “I told them they could stay open as a restaurant.”

Roberts said he learned Monday morning that Randolph’s did not have the proper occupation license to operate a business within the city of El Dorado.
