Attorney general’s opinion: Felony conviction required for ouster of JP



Since his June 27 arrest on seven felony counts of aggravated assault, many in Union County are wondering if Justice of the Peace Jack Reynolds, 55, should be removed from his seats on the Union County Quorum Court, the Union County Finance Committee and the El Dorado Water and Sewer Commission.

But legally, he can’t be.
