• El Dorado police were called Wednesday to Gene’s Liquor, 704 N. West Ave., in reference to a burglary, and upon arrival, a witness reported seeing a man exit the drive-through window carrying a garbage bag. The witness said he last saw the suspect walking east on Hammond, near Arkansas Street. Police said the burglary was captured on video surveillance, in which the suspect was seen taking bottles of alcoholic beverages and cigarettes from the business.
