Local residents turn out to sign ‘Fight Back Express’ bus, share stories of survival, hope

More than 50 local residents stopped to visit with members of the American Cancer Society and to sign the “Fight Back Express” tour bus at the Wal-Mart parking lot in El Dorado Thursday afternoon.

Fight Back Express is a tour designed to draw attention to a disease that kills an estimated 565,650 Americans every year.

The turnout was not as high as ACS members had hoped, but Sherry Bailey, ACS representative, said they didn’t expect many because of the holiday.
