Six judges in the 13th Judicial District are seeking to be recused from the case of a Union County Justice of the Peace who was arrested last week.

In a letter to the Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts, dated July 1 and filed with the office of Union County Circuit Clerk Cheryl Cochran-Wilson, the judges sought recusal from the case of JP Jack Reynolds.

The letter was written by First Division Circuit Court Judge Hamilton Singleton, who was assigned the case.
