William A. Nelson of Smackover, who was arrested over the weekend for the production of illegal drugs, had his bond set at $100,000 cash or corporate surety by District Judge George Van Hook Jr. Monday during his first appearance in Union County District Court.

A mobile home located at 1364 E. 10th St. in Smackover was searched Friday by Union County Sheriff’s deputies and components that are used in manufacturing crystal methamphetamine were discovered.
