Smackover resident facing numerous felony charges

EL DORADO – The Union County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Smackover man for production of illegal drugs and another for theft of copper from an Entergy substation over the weekend.

Sheriff Ken Jones said his office obtained a search warrant for a mobile home at 1364 E. 10th St. in Smackover. At 10:30 Friday night the warrant was served. A man in the house, William “Bill” Nelson, 44, ran out the back door but was caught and arrested.
