Surveys distributed by the El Dorado Safe Streets Task Force to assess citizens’ concerns in their neighborhoods garnered a disappointing response, so the task force met Friday to discuss a change in strategy.

The discussion resulted in the beginning stages of the task force’s first major project and stressed the need for the group to become a visible force in the community.
