Nearly two dozen people were on hand to hear District 7 Arkansas House of Representatives candidates Yancey Kyle, of Smackover, and Garry Smith, of Harmony Grove, speak at the Union County Farm Bureau “Meet the Candidates” forum at the Union County Fairgrounds Thursday evening.

Several specific topics were scheduled for discussion, including animal cruelty laws, state-supported gambling, illegal immigration, highway improvements and the promotion of job growth in Arkansas.
