A lottery conundrum

Many elected officials have mixed feelings about proposed amendment for lottery in state



Union County Judge Bobby Edmonds said on Friday that he supports the lottery amendment that’s being proposed by Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Bill Halter, and he’s happy to be added to the list of 34 other elected officials across the state who’ve also endorsed it.

But that doesn’t mean Edmonds supports gambling — he doesn’t.
