A fund has been established at Regions Bank for the family of Megan Mitchell, a 2-year-old girl with ties to the local area.

Mitchell recently died at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. Her parents, Laura and Danny Mitchell of Clarksville, are both natives of Union County.

Her grandparents include Judy Mitchell of Norphlet, Gene and Ann White of Smackover, and Gaylan and Rod Harrington of El Dorado. Megan is also survived by an older sister and brother of Clarksville.
