Andy Khorramy, employee with British Petroleum, nominated Union County 4-H as an organization that makes a positive contribution to the community.

In return, British Petroleum, “expressed their gratitude” to Union County 4-H by issuing the foundation a check for $500.

The donation was made through the BP Fabric of America Fund.

The corporation is hoping to donate up to $12 million in 2008 to various schools and non-profit organizations making a difference in their communities across America.
