CALION – The city-wide litter pickup in Calion is planned for Saturday. Volunteers are asked to meet at the fire station at 9 a.m. Trash bags will be provided.

Also, the city is planning to recognize a “Yard of the Month” for the months of June, July and August. The recognition will not be decided on the prettiest flowers or greenest grass, but will be judged on the neatest, cleanest and most well kept yard. Nominations can be made for consideration by calling 748-2564. A committee of concerned citizens will view and choose a yard at the end of each month.
