Local registered nurse Missy Tucker had a moment in the sun recently when she won the 2008 Arkansas Public Health Nurse Association Achievement Award.

“I never thought it’d be me,” Tucker said. “I’m so honored.”

Nurses from all over the state were nominated for the award. Tucker was nominated by her colleague, Brandy Nixon.
