HUTTIG – The Huttig City Council convened in regular session on May 13 to discuss upgrades for local emergency response volunteers, according to City Clerk Becky Mathews.

Alderman Jimmy May led the proposal to pay Huttig emergency medical technicians for their services. According to Mathews, emergency medical technicians have provided services free of charge. May also suggested purchasing reflective vests for Huttig volunteer firefighters.
