Union County Sheriff Ken Jones pulled off a solid victory against opponent and current Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Bryan Baker in Tuesday’s Democratic Preferential Primary Election, winning by more than 1,300 votes.
He called the victory “great,” and the campaign “hard fought.” Jones, who took office in 2003, secured 4,186 votes, while Baker had 2,859.
