I have been a resident of El Dorado for about 10 years now, and my daughter just turned 14. With summer approaching, I have been trying to locate some possible activities for her to do since I am a working single mom.

My search has revealed very few options available for her age group. Most of the summer activities I have found in El Dorado are for younger kids, ranging 5-12 years of age. What can this community do about the older kids? I do not want a babysitter for my daughter - just something positive to occupy her time.
