For The Sunday News MAGNOLIA — Milam Construction of El Dorado built on past experience Saturday to claim the World Championship Steak Cook-off. The team won the $4,000 top prize and the Governor’s Cup, which was presented by Gov. Mike Beebe. The annual cook-off was part of the 20th Magnolia Blossom Festival. Milam’s chief cook, Johnny Joseph, was sitting in the rear of the area reserved for team members during the awards ceremony.
