CAMDEN - Sunlight seeps through a canopy of 70-year-old cherry bark red oak tree tops giving visitors a glimpse of a medley of the gum, hickory and holly trees in the upper bottomland of a small stretch along the Ouachita River, about halfway between Tate’s Bluff and Sandy Beach. Nearer the ground are small lavender blooms of spider wort peeping out among the Christmas and resurrection ferns and breaking cane.
