James Edward Clemons, who has been charged in the 1992 murder of a prominent El Dorado businessman, Billy Ponder, has been brought back to El Dorado and is scheduled to make a first appearance today in Union County District Court.

El Dorado Police Chief Ricky Roberts said detectives traveled to Wisconsin Wednesday to bring Clemons back to face charges of capital murder and aggravated robbery.
