Local man arrested following drug bust

Ten marijuana plants and six guns were neatly aligned along a hallway at the Union County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday — evidence from a Wednesday evening bust that netted the arrest of a 37-year-old El Dorado man. Waylon Charles Morris is facing charges of manufacturing a controlled substance (marijuana), simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, aggravated assault, fleeing on foot and resisting arrest.
