City and county officials from the South Arkansas area joined with members of the Task Force for the Twenty-First Century Economy Tuesday in the Charles H. Murphy Jr. Boardroom of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce to discuss economic issues.

Established by the 42nd session of the Arkansas Legislature, the task force was created to study economic-development issues important to the state. The task force also can offer specific recommendations for review, consideration and implementation.
