An ACT Support Plan to better prepare students for college was approved by members of the El Dorado School Board Tuesday night. The plan will be implemented during the 2008-2009 school year.

“With the El Dorado Promise (a $50 million scholarship provided by Murphy Oil Corp. for El Dorado High School graduates), there is a greater opportunity for students to go to college,” said Bob Watson, superintendent.

“We want to do this (implement the ACT Support Plan) for our students. We want to better prepare them for the ACT,” Watson said.
