STRONG – City-wide clean-up efforts were the big issue at Strong’s City Council meeting May 1. According to Erma Little, recorder, the council has set the first Friday and Saturday in June as clean-up days. The city will provide dumpsters, and the council requests that no tires or large household appliances, such as refrigerators, be discarded.

Little also said that the council received three bids from C & F Construction Co. to resurface East Second Avenue, Pine Street and Gum Street.
