A “Waiting to Excel” literacy camp and a summer camp will begin in June, with a goal of helping students improve their math and reading skills, along with giving the students the opportunity to travel, learn about colleges and meet people across Arkansas.

For the second year, the Fairview Community Development Association, El Dorado School District, the United Way of Union County and St. John Baptist Church, in partnership with the community, will offer the summer program, “Waiting to Excel.”
